About the Trust
The APA
Insurance Trust was formed in 1962 by the American Psychological Association
(APA) as a separate and distinct legal entity from the APA. The Trust is
legally recognized as a business trust that provides financial security
programs for the members of the APA and other affiliated individuals as well as
risk management and other consultative services related to the Trust Insurance
Programs.
Our Mission Statement
The Mission of the American Psychological Association Insurance Trust is to
provide programs for the financial security needs of APA members and related
individuals.
The Trust program is continually monitored by the Trustees - psychologists
experienced in both practice and insurance needs and independent insurance
experts - to ensure that your coverage is broad and meets the ever changing
environment in this dynamic discipline.
